About this piece

A key shelf in dark mahogany: metal hooks under the board for keys and the dog's leash, a level top for a watch and a phone.

Sizes run 6 to 36 inches long and 3 to 8 deep, carrying anywhere from 2 hooks up to 14 depending on length.

Mahogany reads formal by the front door, closer to furniture than hardware. The same shelf comes in oak, maple, walnut stain, and poplar for painting.

Beside an office door it does the same work for badges and headphones.

Can I use this shelf for more than just keys?

Yes; despite being made for keys with its built in hooks, its flat top surface doubles as a practical little wall shelf for commonplace objects like watches, wallets, and other necessities or decorations.

Does the shelf help with organizing keys and daily items?

Yes, the flat top and key hooks make this a useful floating wall shelf for hallways, entryways, or next to desks where wallets or keys are kept.

Does the purchase include the key hooks and mounting hardware?

Yes, the shelf has a concelead wall-mount bracket, screws, anchors, and built-in metal key hooks for typical drywall installation.

Does the shelf have a finish applied?

Our shelves can be either finished or unfinished! If finished, we use a protective oil finish that preserves the wood grain and color.

If unfinished, the wood will be sanded to 220 grit and will be ready for an on-site custom stain or finish.
