About this piece

A trapezoid does what a square cannot: the slanted sides lean the shelf toward mid century, and a staggered row of them makes a pattern on the wall.

It is solid oak with a base of 4, 5, or 6 inches, in two thicknesses. A single hidden anchor mounts it: one quarter inch hole and a twist, and it sits flush.

Also in mahogany, or poplar for painting.

One holds a small plant or a candle; a few together turn into wall decor on their own.

Is the trapezoid shelf solid wood?

Yes. The trapezoid shelf is solid oak, cut from the same boards as our full size shelves.

Do trapezoids work with the other shapes?

Yes. Two trapezoids stack into a hexagon, and the shape pairs with every other piece in the geometric collection.

Is the mounting bracket visible once the shelf is installed?

No. Hardware is hidden inside the board; the trapezoid appears to sit on the wall by itself.

Is the mini shelf made of solid wood?

Yes. Every shape ships as real wood; this trapezoid is oak, with mahogany, maple, and poplar elsewhere in the line.
