Ledge, Plate & Vinyl Display Shelves

6 products

Shelves made for showing things face-out. The picture ledge leans frames and art against the wall in lengths to 84 inches, rearranged without new nail holes. The plate display shelves hold a routed groove that keeps platters and china standing upright. The vinyl record shelves face an album cover out, sized for a standard 12 inch sleeve.

All solid wood, milled and finished in Brooklyn, mounted with nothing visible.

A slim solid wood shelf with a raised front lip. Instead of hanging every frame on its own nail, you lean photos, prints, and art against the wall and the lip keeps them from sliding off. Rearranging is just picking things up and moving them: no new holes, no measuring, no regrets. The picture ledge is cut from one solid piece with no joints and no visible screws. It also comes in powder coated steel, in black or white.

A shallow shelf with a front lip sized to hold plates standing upright, facing the room. It is how heirloom china, hand thrown ceramics, and decorative plates get onto the wall without a plate hanger clipping onto each rim. Ours come in solid oak and mahogany, and a row of them makes a classic kitchen or dining room plate rail.

Yes, sleeve out, like the album art it is. The vinyl record shelf holds records with the cover facing the room, so the record you are playing this week doubles as wall art. It comes in oak and mahogany, and a horizontal row of them turns a wall into a rotating gallery.

It is the heavyweight of the ledge family: a full thick floating shelf, 12 to 84 inches long, with a raised lip along the front edge. Lean large framed art on it, stand cookbooks face out, or use it anywhere things might otherwise slide or tip forward. Same hidden bracket mounting as our other thick shelves.

Layer, do not line up. Lean larger frames at the back, overlap smaller ones in front, and let a small object or two break up the frames. Two or three ledges stacked 12 to 18 inches apart make a full gallery wall you can rework in five minutes, which is the whole argument for ledges over nails.
