About this piece

A rhombus wall shelf in solid oak: 3 to 5 inch base, two thicknesses, mounted on a single hidden twist-on anchor. The top surface is flat and level.

Two or three staggered up a wall make the classic arrangement over a desk or dresser.

Also in mahogany, or poplar for painting.

Is it solid oak?

Yes, solid oak through and through. Small shelves are where hollow MDF is most common, and this is the opposite of that.

Can I use this display shelf in a small space like a bathroom or entryway?

Yes. The rhombus fits the odd little walls: beside mirrors, above towel hooks, between door frames.

Can I choose a thicker version for a more robust look?

Yes. The shapes also come 1 1/2 inches thick, which makes the rhombus read more like a small sculpture than a thin outline.

Is the mounting bracket visible once the shelf is installed?

No. The rhombus mounts on a concealed bracket, so the shape floats clean with no visible screws.

Can I use this mini shelf in my living room?

Yes. A rhombus in light oak floats nicely over a sofa or media console, holding one plant or a small ceramic.
