Depth Information: Each shelf, regardless of length, features a double curve front (two curves). The selected depth refers to the deepest curve. The second, shallower curve will be 2 inches less deep for shelves 4" to 6" deep and 3 inches less deep for shelves 8" to 12" deep.
Recommended weight limit: ~45-50 lbs per stud.

Our oak shelves usually have a slight natural reddish tint. Every shelf will vary slightly in color, striation, and grain texture.
Orders ship free within the United States (exception below*). Orders require 1-14 days of processing time, as most orders are built to order. Orders usually arrive 3-5 days when shipped. If we have an order in stock, we will ship the item quicker. *Shipping calculated at checkout for metal products.
International Orders
International orders have a standard charge. Most orders will arrive between 7-14 business days after 1-2 weeks of processing time. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. NookWoodworking is not responsible for delays due to customs.

About this piece
The front edge of this shelf rises and falls in a double curve, one long wave cut into solid oak. Even empty, it reads as a design object rather than storage.
It is a wavy floating shelf in the full size range: 12 to 84 inches long, 4 to 12 deep, an inch and a half thick on hidden brackets.
Besides oak, it comes in mahogany, walnut stain, or poplar for painting.
Books and plants sit on it like on any straight shelf. The wave just keeps the wall interesting between them.
These can be made as LED floating shelves too: we mill a channel to your spec, and you add the strip light.
