Recommended weight limit: ~150 lbs per stud, depending on stud type. Drywall anchors can hold ~30-60 lbs per bracket.

Our oak shelves usually have a slight natural reddish tint. Every shelf will vary slightly in color, striation, and grain texture.
Orders ship free within the United States (exception below*). Orders require 1-14 days of processing time, as most orders are built to order. Orders usually arrive 3-5 days when shipped. If we have an order in stock, we will ship the item quicker. *Shipping calculated at checkout for metal products.
International Orders
International orders have a standard charge. Most orders will arrive between 7-14 business days after 1-2 weeks of processing time. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. NookWoodworking is not responsible for delays due to customs.

About this piece
Light wood, dark steel. That contrast is the whole idea here: a thick oak board on black metal J brackets from Cascade Iron Co, the pairing behind the best modern open shelving.
The J bracket is named for its shape. It reads close to floating while carrying more than a hidden bracket, which makes the deep version a kitchen workhorse. Lengths run 12 to 84 inches, in 5 1/2 or 11 1/4 inch depths.
Boards come in oak, mahogany, walnut stain, or poplar for painting.

For lighted open shelving, add a milled LED channel from this page. You set the groove; the LED strip is not included.
