About this piece
Some things deserve their own shelf: one plant, a watch, a candle, the ring dish that keeps disappearing. This is a small square display shelf on a single hidden bracket, made to give one object a place.
It comes three, four, or five inches square, in two thicknesses. Hang one alone as a trinket shelf by the door, or run a few up a stairwell wall where a full floating shelf will not fit. It is the square in our mini shelf lineup.
The board is solid oak, grain visible on every face, cut and finished in our Brooklyn shop. Mahogany does the same job in a darker tone, and poplar is there if you plan to paint.
It floats with no visible support, which on a wooden shelf this small reads almost like a trick.
