What is this coat rack made of?

Powder coated steel, cut and finished in Oregon through our partnership with Cascade Iron Co. For a wood version, our maple and oak coat racks come from our Brooklyn shop.

How much weight can it hold?

Mounted into studs with the included hardware, each hook holds about 75 pounds, so heavy winter coats and loaded bags are no concern.

How high should a coat rack be mounted?

Around 60 to 66 inches off the floor keeps long coats clear of the ground and the hooks within reach for everyone in the house.
