12" shelves are composed of a single piece of lumber. 14"+ shelves may be composed of two pieces of lumber joined together.

Recommended weight limit: ~45-50 lbs per stud.

Note: Only shelf, brackets, directions, and screws are included in purchase.

Our oak shelves usually have a slight natural reddish tint. Every shelf will vary slightly in color, striation, and grain texture.
Within the United States
Orders ship free within the United States (exception below*). Orders require 1-14 days of processing time, as most orders are built to order. Orders usually arrive 3-5 days when shipped. If we have an order in stock, we will ship the item quicker. *Shipping calculated at checkout for metal products.

International Orders
International orders have a standard charge. Most orders will arrive between 7-14 business days after 1-2 weeks of processing time. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. NookWoodworking is not responsible for delays due to customs.

There are no returns or cancellations for custom orders or orders from a third party provider via Shopify Collective.

About this piece

A corner shelf with a hand-shaped front edge. Where our other corner shelves keep one fixed profile, round or straight, this one is cut in a flowing curve, and the curve comes three different ways.

Choose edge No 1, No 2, or No 3, or order the set of all three and run them down a corner at staggered heights.

It fits a standard 90 degree inside corner on heavy duty hidden brackets, in 12, 14, or 16 inch sizes, in solid oak, mahogany, maple, walnut stain, or poplar for painting.

Is the mounting bracket visible once the shelf is installed?

No, the mounting hardware is concealed. The hidden bracket gives the shelf a “floating” appearance and a clean look on any wall.

Why choose a corner shelf rather than a flat wall shelf?

The corner shelf makes great use of unused wall space while adding a touch of visual interest. When installed as a floating shelf, it brings both style and practicality to tight or angled areas.

Will this shelf support heavier décor items such as framed art, sculptures or multiple books?

Yes, with its thick profile and hidden bracket system, these shelves are strong enough to hold heavier items securely.

Does the shelf have a finish applied?

Our shelves can be either finished or unfinished! If finished, we use a protective Danish oil that preserves the wood grain and color.

If unfinished, the wood will be sanded to 220 grit and will be ready for an on-site custom stain or finish.

Are these shelves handmade?

Yes, all our products are made by skilled woodworkers in Brooklyn, New York.
