I was very pleased with the curved floating shelves that were delivered, installation had great instructions, and the shelves were as described. This is not Nook's issue, but the shelves were more red in appearance than I expected, this was described online so not the fault of Nook. I sanded and applied Boma red out, and got them to the desired color, to match my vanity that was close by and am so happy with the results. I would use Nook again if I need more shelves, the experience was great!
Just installed our new oak shelf and am very happy with the product. It is handsome and solid. A great price too. Highly recommend.
The "thin" shelves we got look and feel amazing. The pegs they come with are very sturdy. The drywall anchors they come with are _very_ lacking. The documentation on Nook's website even suggests toggle bolts. Not a huge deal, but I installed my shelves with drywall anchors first and they were quite slumped.
All in all, pretty great shelves.
I’ve ordered several shelves, one of them custom and the customer service has been amazing. They helped me choose the right color and size.
Shelves were beautifully made and fit our space well. Unfortunately not enough hardware was sent so took off 1 star for that.

I thought the shelves were a little pricey but once they arrived I realized I would have paid twice the price for the quality of what they make and ordered more. I was very impressed with the obvious thought that went into the making of these shelves and the weight they support. They are the Cherry on the Top of my bar display. NookWoodworking's customer service is as top shelf as their product. Highly recommend!
Tne six inch shelf arrived well packed and on time. Looks swell oon my wall. Mounting instructions were helpful.
Provided screws with anchors were too large in diameter. I found this out after I got a **** a quarter of the way into the anchor and realized there was far too much resistance.
I had to cut the anchor to get the **** out of the anchor and separated from the shelf bracket.
Review would be 5 stars for the shelf itself, but this was very frustrating in process and to have to go find correct screws when I paid to have hardware included.
I love my little shelf. It’s hanging right next to my door, displaying a beautiful icon. I hung it myself with helpful instructions!
Really nice quality shelves, and very accomodating staff. I visited their workshop in Bushwick and was shown what the end product of the shelves and what type or finishes are available. I am very pleased with the end product.
This product looks great, is very well-crafted, and comes with legit strong hardware. They were even able to customize the shelf to our needs, and it fits our space perfectly. I do think their installation instructions need a bit of tweaking - drilling a small pilot hole first to see if you hit a stud (and providing hardware for if you do), and probably using #8 instead of #10 screws. But we worked through these and have a beautiful finished product.
These are beautifully made. We had a hard time finding what we wanted, and these are exactly what we were looking for.
The shelves look exactly like I expected and are nice but the drywall anchors were so cheap that they couldn't hold the brackets onto the wall without sagging I had to run to the hardware store to get proper anchors.
We ordered three floating shelves for our kitchen. The brackets and suggested tips worked great for our old Victorian home's uneven walls. The shelves are very sturdy and look great.

This is the second time we’ve ordered shelves from Nook and we’re probably coming back again. Admittedly, it’s a little tricky to get the initial account point installed (and level), but that’s really a minor complaint.
