About this piece

What comes with the propagation shelf?

The shelf, its glass test tubes, and the mounting hardware all arrive together, ready to hang and fill with cuttings.

Will this small shelf show screw heads or mount hardware on the face?

No screws show from the front. The fasteners hide behind the board once it is on the wall.

Is this a solid wood shelf?

Yes, the triangle is solid oak or mahogany. Nothing laminated, nothing hollow.

Why not just put a vase on a shelf?

A standard shelf just holds a vase; this one is drilled for its test tubes, so each cutting stands straight with its roots on display.

Can I leave the tubes empty?

Yes. Use the tubes as bud vases for single flowers or leave them empty; the triangle shape carries the look either way.
