About this piece

A serving tray built from mahogany and oak with a full grain leather surface and brushed brass handles, made in Brooklyn.

The leather does the quiet work: glasses do not slide, ceramics do not clatter, and the surface deepens in color as it wears in. The two woods meet in the frame, dark against light.

It carries breakfast in bed, cocktails across a room, and cheese at the party, and between jobs it sits out as a catchall on an ottoman or bar cart.

Full grain leather is the top cut of the hide, the kind that lasts decades. We do not use anything else on these.

What is this serving tray made of?

The tray is handcrafted from solid mahogany and oak hardwoods, lined with full-grain leather, and finished with brushed brass handles. We use only solid wood — never veneer, MDF, or composite materials.

What is the leather lining for?

The full-grain leather backing creates a soft, supple surface that protects delicate items like glassware, ceramics, or barware from sliding or scratching. It also adds visual warmth and a refined feel that bare wood alone doesn't offer.

Is the leather real full-grain leather?

Yes, we use full-grain leather, which is the highest quality grade available. It's more durable than top-grain or bonded leather, and it develops a beautiful patina over time that improves with age.

What can I use this serving tray for?

This tray is versatile for serving breakfast in bed, hosting cocktail or dinner parties, displaying a cheese or charcuterie spread, or styling on an ottoman or coffee table as a decorative catchall.

Are the handles included and how are they attached?
