Marked-down pieces from the regular catalog: same solid oak and mahogany, same Brooklyn build, lower price while they last. Stock here rotates, so if a size fits your wall, it may not be here next week. For deeper cuts on one-off boards, check clearance.

Simple reasons, mostly practical ones: we rotate promotions on sizes we have momentum on, retire variants, and make room in a Brooklyn shop where space is real money. Nothing on sale is a different product than at full price. Same boards, same brackets, same build.

No. A sale shelf is the identical product at a different price: the same solid oak or mahogany, the same steel bracket, cut and finished by the same hands in the same shop. We do not make a budget line. Boards with actual flaws are sold separately in clearance, clearly photographed and described.

Sales rotate rather than follow a fixed calendar, with the bigger ones landing around the usual retail moments. This page always shows what is currently marked down, and clearance runs year-round with one-off boards. The email list hears about sales first, so signing up is the reliable way to catch one. If a size you need is on sale, it is worth acting on: sale stock is regular stock, and it sells.

Sale items are current catalog products, made to order in the size and wood you pick, temporarily marked down. Clearance is one-off boards, overruns, returns, and pieces with a photographed flaw, at fixed sizes and deeper discounts, gone when they sell. If you need a specific size, start with sale; if your walls are flexible, clearance has the better prices.

Sale pricing applies to the sizes listed on each sale product page. Custom cuts between standard sizes are usually quoted at regular pricing, but ask: if the custom size is close to a sale size, we can often work with you. Email support@nookwoodworking.com with the size and wall before you order.
